Renowned radio personality, Blakk Rasta, who is known for condemning social wrongs, has described Yaw Buaben Asamoah as unpatriotic.

Speaking on the Black Pot segment of his radio show, Urban Blend on 3FM, Blakk Rasta lamented the state of affairs in Ghana, expressing concern for future generations and highlighting the failures of leadership.

His criticism of the former Communications Director of the ruling NPP, who a lead campaigner for the former NPP flag-bearer aspirant is now, Alan Kyerematen and his breakaway party, the Movement for Change, stems from a recent claim made by Mr. Asamoah that the NDC and NPP are selfish and greedy parties who seek for their selfish aggrandizement.

According to Mr. Asamoah, Alan Kyerematen is the only person among all the presidential hopefuls for the 2024 presidential election who is incorruptible and without any corruption scandal.

“These two parties are selfish, greedy and only interested in themselves and what they will get. They don’t have the interest of Ghanaians at heart.” Buabeng Asamoah asserted.

However, Blakk Rasta describes it as an act of double standards on the part of Mr. Asamoah who not long ago, was busily defending and denying the corruption scandals against the NPP government, and touted the so-called unprecedented achievements when he was Director of Communications for NPP.

The host of 3FM Urban Blend further asserted that Buaben Asamoah has been shifting allegiance and opinions with the changing political winds, which undermines his credibility.

“Buaben Asamoah, a few days back was touting the nonexistent prowess and achievements of the Nana Akuffo Addo Bawumia government, but after he was sacked all of a sudden is talking common sense,” Blakk Rasta stated.

He also urges Ghanaians not to be defending the very political entities who have denied them their due and have plunged the country into a dire social and economic situation.
