‘Grind day’ crooner Kwesi Arthur who has been largely accepted by majority of Ghanaians has said he never expected the song to make such a bug hit across the country.
The young rapper who was speaking to Nana Kwadwo Addo on 3FM’s Showbiz927 disclosed how he never dreamt “Grind Day” was going to be a hit song in Ghana.
According to him, the “Ground Up” team didn’t put much effort into the song before it was released.
The hype for “Grind Day” song he said was very low and as a result, they were not certain about the release of the track.
He added, the acceptance of the song by Ghanaians has really helped him as an artiste and has moved his music career to another level.
Asked about his management team, the rapper said, “I have no manager for now, I do everything on my own together with my crew called “Ground Up”.
Showbiz 927 airs on 3FM 92.7 every Thursday at 8.00pm and Saturday at 1.00pm.
