Popular actress and Talkshow host Nana Ama McBrown has been ordered to appear before an Accra Circuit Court as a lead witness in the case against Mr. Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hansen, widely known as Bull Dog.

The accused is charged for unsavoury comments made against President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo on Nana Ama McBrown’s ‘United Showbiz’ show on UTV.

The summons was issued on Thursday, March 25 by Her Honour Evelyn Asamoah as a result of the talkshow host refusing to collaborate with investigators to avail herself to testify in the case as the lead witness in court.

She has reportedly refused to work with the prosecutor of the case, Chief Inspector Simon Appiorsonu.

She is said not to have availed herself before the court “no matter what”.

This prompted the prosecutor to seek a subpoena to compel her to appear before the honorable judge on Friday, March 26.

The popular artiste manager Bulldog has been charged with “offensive conduct conducive to breaches of peace” for reportedly saying that: “the president will not finish his tenure and that, he will run away if he fails to pay Menzgold customers their deposits” on the United Showbiz show on January 9. 2021.

Bulldog has since pleaded “not guilty” to the charge and was admitted to bail in the sum of GH¢70,000 with three sureties, of whom two are public servants.
