Captain Planet, a former leader of the defunct Hiplife group 4X4, has urged Ghanaians to never return back to Ghana if they get the opportunity to travel abroad.
He believes that Ghanaians are better off elsewhere because the country’s leaders are not prioritising the needs of the people.
Captain Planet alleged that Ghanaian leaders are acquiring properties for their families at the expense of Ghanaians.
According to him, there is no secured future for any Ghanaian. The musician made these comments in a post he shared on X.
“If you’re fortunate enough to leave this country please don’t come back. These leaders are only acquiring properties for their families & they don’t give a shit about you. Don’t die for this country in the name of being patriotic. Your future is not secured here. BE WISE”.

Meanwhile, netizens have vehemently opposed the suggestion by Captain Planet.
If you are out of the country and don’t feel like coming back, please shut up!! We are here, we will keep pushing till we get things. No environment is free from corruption. But day in, day out.. keep reducing in Ghana. You may have a different view.

Being patriotic means buying , selling and promoting everything made in GH including the music industry . If your analogy is anything to go by , then we should stop patronising local acts like you .you’re part of the problem in this country , u she be ashamed for saying this

Baba, I don't agree with you if we all leave the country who will fight on our behalf and pressure the government to do better? Traveling to another man's country isn't the best way, who should make their country. better and you will travel to it? We can also make ours better.
