DJ Willie and Papa Shamo have officially been welcomed into the Media General group as presenters for Onua TV and Onua FM.
In a dignified befitting outdooring ceremony, popular radio presenters William Smith (aka DJ Willie) and Dickson Owusu (aka Papa Shamo) were welcomed by management and staff at the Executive Theater on TV3 premises, Kanda.
In his usual fashion, Papa Shamo translated DJ Willie’s Chinese. “He is happy to be present at this gathering today. He sends a big thank you to Onua TV and Onua FM. And they are going to become special from the beginning of the new week. So stay tuned.”
“With 23 years of experience in the radio industry, we know that God is with us, and so, we will be victorious. And with our experience, our former employers believed in us. In turn, we worked hard to uphold the company standards. Now God has brought us to Onua. So we are bringing whatever we were known for in addition to the more new and exciting stuff,” DJ Willie continued.
DJ Willie and Papa Shamo have joined the Onua Team with Blessed Godsbrain Smart (Captain Smart), Daakyehemaa Adwo Asantewaa, Isaac Ansah Apagya, Nathaniel Obeng, Ghbwoy and Appiah Kubi.
