22-year-old Jiwu Nika is ready to brave out the storm on Mentor X and emerge as the next global icon. Jiwu shared her journey, aspirations and dreams inspired through good sounds and rhythms.

Emmanuella Amoah Billson, with the stage name Jiwu Nika, is a student at the Kumasi Technical University. She disclosed the challenge of combining studies with a full-time career. Luckily for her, her incredible talent got the eye of a management company, which groomed her to this present day.

“The beginning of my music career was tough. I started way back in Kumasi. So I got a management team in the Eastern region. They took me to the Eastern region, to better manage my affairs.

“Then I came back to Kumasi to continue my schooling. So I heard of Mentor, and I joined this edition. And I qualified to be part of the top 16. So please support me and push me to the next level.”

Jiwu Nika is out to take over the world stage. And owe onto anyone who stands in her way.
