An avid music lover and Mentor X contestant TM Musiq is ready to show the world that he is the next global icon from the reality show.
Theophilus Mbeah is a 23-year-old singer and guitarist who has a relentless streak. According to TM Musiq, he finally entered the Mentor house on his third attempt. He revealed that he has been angling for the opportunity since he first saw the show as a teen.
“I like music. All I do is music. And I have always liked this program since childhood. I heard about Mentor years ago, and I made up my mind to join. But this is my third try, and I am now in the house.
“I want to make it in the music industry. And hopefully, through Mentor, a team to help me navigate the system and put me out there.”
The gospel singer revealed how forming connections with prominent Men of God and gospel artiste like Dr Sonnie Badu has kept him grounded in his pursuit of success. His song, ‘Awesome God’ is a perfect personification of his faith.
According to TM Musiq, Mentor X is the place to be if you want to succeed in the music market.
“I know that this platform is a very huge one, and it is going to give me some exposure, and if by God’s grace I win, I am going to work very hard in this music industry.”
TM Musiq respects the talents of his fellow housemates but is not letting the completion sway him away from his goal of becoming king of music in Ghana. As a determined young man, he shared some advice with his colleagues as they seek fame and the spotlight on the stage.
“I would like to tell all the up-coming musicians out there that in anything that they do, everything that they do, they have to keep moving forward. No matter what. And they will blow one day.”
