Meek Mill’s phone ‘thief’ granted GH¢50,000 bail

The 33-year-old man held for allegedly stealing the phone of American rapper Meek Mill has been granted bail to the tune of GH¢50,000.

He was granted bail by an Accra Circuit Court with two sureties.

Nuhu Sule, also known as Ababawaa, is expected to reappear on Monday, February 6.

He was arrested on Friday, December 30, 2022 barely a day after the rapper complained of the crime.

The police traced the phone to the hideout of the suspect, who is said to be a scrap dealer.

He was arraigned on the charge of stealing.
