Rapper Meek Mill has been overwhelmed by the love shown to him by Ghanaians during his first visit and promised to buy a house in the West African country.

The American has been well-received everywhere he has gone, receiving presidential treatment as he is escorted by several motorbike riders.

Meek Mill came down for the Afro Nation festival and headlined the first day, Thursday.

In what is said to be a 12-minute performance, he had the audience dancing to some of his hit songs.

Meek Mill stopped by one of Accra’s popular nightclubs at 3:00 am on his first day and stayed for four hours. Instead of going straight to his hotel, he went biking with stunt riders in the capital.

Meek Mill was videoed on a four-wheel motorcycle with several riders riding through Accra in the early hours of Thursday morning, prior to his performance at Afro Nation.

And in one of his Instagram videos, in which several motorbikes escort him to Afro Nation concert, Meek Mill wrote, “I’m grabbing a crib in Ghana for sure. This is real love.”

Meek Mill travelled to Ghana after discovering on Ancestry.com that he is 18% Ghanaian.

He posted his DNA results on his Instagram Story on Wednesday (December 28), circling the 18% labelled “Ivory Coast & Ghana” and writing: “My second home!!!”
