Fella Makafui and Medikal’s relationship is the embodiment of the saying, ‘marry your best friend’. According to Fella Makafui, Medikal is her best friend and the closest thing to a soul mate.
Since they announced their intentions, the power couple has had their relationship under public scrutiny. Due to the ‘controversy’ surrounding their dating phase, many people predicted that the relationship will not stand the test of time.
Fella Makafui may have revealed the secret to their long-standing relationship during an interview with BBC Pidgin.
“Before we even married, we were like best friends. We mostly think alike. I feel we are soulmates. If I say this, it is in the sense that before we got married, we vibed on most things. We talked about business and anything. He is someone I gossip with. He is someone I will discuss business with. But basically, he is someone that I can do anything with.”
Fella Makafui and Medikal got married on March 7, 2020. They have a lovely baby girl, Island Frimpong, who turned one this year.
