Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie, has cautioned Ghanaians to stop pressurizing celebrities to get married. According to him, marriage is not for everybody, and that people settle down in marriage as and when they are ready. He noted that people have reasons why they do not want to get married; hence, the public should learn to respect their decision. Speaking on Accra-based, Hitz FM, the ‘pain killer’ hit maker stressed that people in the industry should not be pressurized to get married or change their current relationship status because other celebrities are tying the knot. “I don’t think it (marriage) is for everybody, if you can function, and you are okay, that is fine. You have to do it based on how you feel. You are not supposed to be pressured because whoever got married so you think you are under pressure to also do same.” “Some people don’t function well when they are asked to stand at one place. I can function with that act, so I did it for me and how I see life and how I want to live. So, you guys should stop putting pressure on people. Tracy and I have been there for a very long time,” Sarkodie said. He also disclosed that some people rather become unhappy after they settle down, reaffirming his conviction that people who are like that should be left alone to enjoy their celibate life. Sarkodie, born Michael Owusu Addo married his wife, Tracy on July 19, this year at a private ceremony. By Nanaakua Yeboah| 3news.com| Ghana]]>
