Ebony’s latest banger ‘Maame Hwe’ seems to have caught on with a lot of kids, particularly those who showed up for the Greater Accra Region audition of TV3’s reality show Talented Kidz. The two-day audition, which started Friday, saw almost all the auditioning bands performing ‘Maame Hwe’. One after the other, the bands served judges with the song with a few doing their own renditions as they sang and danced to the tune. Although some did very well with the song, judges were unhappy with some of the bands who seemed not to have prepared enough for their performance. The audition train of the 9th edition of Talented Kidz, which kick-started on Friday, 26 January, has finally landed in the capital city of Accra with hundreds of children showing up at TV3’s premises with hopes of being part of this year’s competition. One after the other, the kids took turns to show off their talents and skill to the judges; be it singing, playing of instruments and dancing, they gave off what most of them described as their best performance. While some were able to wow the judges to book a qualification to the next stage, others looked unprepared and were encouraged to come back next year. TV3’s Talented Kidz is an annual reality show which presents a platform for children between the ages of seven and 12 to showcase their talent. This year’s audition ends in Accra on Saturday, February 3 after weeks of scouting for the best of talents across the country. By Irene Amesimeku|3news.com|Ghana  ]]>
