Musician Article Wan has advised Ayesem to forget about a collaboration with Kofi Kinaata and build his own brand.
Earlier, Ayesem revealed that his friend, Kofi Kinaata, has refused a musical collaboration on countless occasions. He said this in an exclusive interview with ConnectFM’s Nana Adwoa Arthur.
Reacting to this, Article Wan told Onua FM’s Christian Agyei Frimpong on Anigye Mmere that Ayesem should forget the said collaboration and move on with his career. He added that because Kofi Kinaata is not God to guarantee hit songs.
“Me, if you send me a song and I don’t feel, I don’t feel. People have sent me songs, I didn’t do. And I’ve also sent songs to artistes, and they didn’t even reply. It’s part of the game. If that thing happens, Ayesem, I’m telling you, just forget about Kinaata and do your thing. Kofi Kinaata is not God. Kinaata is good, same as you. He’s got hit songs and you as well,” Article Wan advised Ayesem.
Article Wan also chastised Ayesem for creating an impression that there’s a grudge between himself and Kofi Kinaata, which is not the case.
“So if you keep on talking about this issue, you make it look like there is a problem between the two of you. Don’t create problems for Kofi Kinaata. Forget him and do your thing,” he concluded.
