The Adentan Circuit Court Tuesday morning granted Ghanaian Afrobeat singer, Kelvyn Boy born Kelvin Brown, a bail of GHc 200,000 with two sureties for allegedly assaulting his baby mama on February 22.
The musician is said to have hit the lady several times with an iron rod in the rib.
Kelvyn Boy who was charged with assault pleaded not guilty to the offense.
The court was presided over by Mrs. Sedinam Awo Balokah for bail application of the ‘Down Flat singer.
The complainant Deborah Kponyi has been in a relationship with the accused for more than 10 years and has two children.
Kelvyn Boy is expected to appear before the court on March 18, 2022.
