Between 2005 and 2010, Quick Action worked with Samini at which period they produced hit songs like Odo, which was the toast of the moment and earned him the Best African Act award at the 2006 MOBO Awards. They churned out other hit tracks like ”Music Makes Me Survive, Repatriation and Everywhere You Go”, which cemented Samini’s musical career as one of the best dancehall artiste in the country. The two, however, parted ways after almost 6 years of working relationship. Eight years down the line, Samini has not been on top of his game as was the case almost a decade ago, and this according to Quick Action, should be blamed on the current sound engineers for the artiste He told TV3’s Owusu-Worae that the current sound engineers do not really understand Samini’s style, thus failing to tease out the best out of him “Musically, there is a particular trend that the producers he’s working with now, they don’t know.
