The 2022 VGMA ‘Best Rap Performance’ winner Lyrical Joe has put together this masterpiece to detail his journey so far.
In an interview with AJ Sarpong on the 3fm Drive, he detailed how it took him to get some artistes to feature on his album.
“I don’t know if the approach got to them or not but I tried getting to them. I don’t know if the people we approached weren’t helping to get to these artistes.
“One person that I tried multiple times to put on a song but I didn’t get to talk to him personally was Medikal. But as it stands now I am good I have a song with him on my album.
“I called Kwesi Arthur we spoke and he agreed but when I sent the song later he turn off and I didn’t hear from him anymore but I sent to Sark he hoped on it by the next day he sent his vex and later came through for us to shoot a video,” he said.
“Sarkodie actually called me twice asking when we are shooting the video,” Lyrical Joe added.
The rapper is currently promoting his album ’Photo Album’ as the title suggests, the artiste flips through a collection of photographic memories brought to life by lyrics from his pen.
