I twerked for my new car – Akuapem Poloo

Socialite Rosemond Brown says she is happy to have secured for herself a new car. She said most of the celebrities who have been in the limelight for long cannot boast of their own cars but rather hire the services of Uber and taxi drivers. Asked if she got the car in exchange for sex, Akuapem Poloo, who refers to herself as a drama queen, answered in the negative. She told TV3’s Johnnie Hughes on New Day on Wednesday, January 29 that she got the car through twerking, acting as well as serving as brand ambassadors for some products. “I worked for my car. No big man can claim he bought my car for me,” she said. Akuapem Poloo said contrary to perceptions about her, she does not engage in sex to make a living though surviving and taking care of her only child – as a single parent – is what motivates her to do what she does.
