A Ghanaian man has shared his harrowing story of how he was abandoned by a lady despite showing his love for her.
Benjamin Kwame Tornyegah who called in on the 3FM Drive on Thursday to request for Rudeboy’s ‘Reason With Me’ song said he paid his girlfriend’s university fees while she was in Law school at the University of Ghana for three years.
Despite his care and support while he was working as a ‘trotro’ driver at the time, Benjamin was met with an unfortunate news after the lady had completed her law education.
According to Benjamin, the lady broke up with him after she had completed her law education and told him she cannot be with him because of his status as a ‘trotro’ driver.
“I was driving for work and pay and I took care of the girl from University of Ghana Law school and paid school fees for three years, she finished and said Benjamin I do not know you, you are not my class,” he narrated.
Benjamin said he was devastated by the sad news and was unable to feed properly for close to a month.
However, he added that he is currently over the break up and has moved on with his life as it happened six years ago, stressing that “I leave everything for God.”
