A distraught wife confesses how she has brought a curse into her family after hiding her child to marry her husband on Confessions With Ms Nancy.
The wife, whose name was withheld, said she was told that she could not marry her husband because she already had a child outside of marriage. She said with this revelation and her determination to marry her then-fiance, she plotted with her sister to hire a fake family for the marriage ceremony.
“I started seeing a man. We both live in the US. Before we were married, my mother’s cousin told me I can’t be with my husband because he holds a position in the community. This does not allow him to marry any woman with a child. Unfortunately for me, I have a daughter.
“I really love this man, so I hired some people to be my fake family. And we had the engagement and wedding ceremony in Ghana with my sister’s help. Things went well. There was nothing suspicious.”
3 years after the deceitful event, her father became sick and all roads led to her as the source of his ailment.
“My husband and I have been happily married for 5 years. But 3 years down the line, my father got terribly sick. We have visited many hospitals, but he keeps getting worse. So the family decided to try the traditional route. The divination revealed that an abomination has been committed in our family. And my father is suffering because he is the head of the family.
“I am scared my father will die because of me. Should I confess that I’m married? Will I lose my husband? What should I do?” she concluded.
