Ghanaian afro-pop/dancehall artiste MzVee has stated that she is determined to do more music emphasising that she cannot envision a life without it.
While revealing the inspiration behind her songs and career in an interview with 3xtra, she shed light on the driving force behind her commitment to music.
The celebrated singer, who has just released her latest track, ‘Destiny,’ to commemorate her decade-long presence in the music industry, revealed that she sees no future without music because music is an integral part of her identity.
“I don’t see myself without Music. Music is me, and so there’s no going away from music. I guess I’m being more inspiring now, and I am more positive with my lyrics,” she said.
MzVee, who has consistently thrilled audiences with her music, also disclosed that she always has a favourite song from her catalogue, but the one holding a special place in her heart at the moment is her latest creation, ‘Destiny.’
She explained, “I always have a favourite, like it depends on the time. Right now, the special one is the new one, not just because it’s new. The title is ‘Destiny.’ If you listen to the lyrics of the song, you will understand I wouldn’t have to talk too much.”
The singer added that her favourite genre of music is not confined to a specific style but rather the message that the music conveys. For her, the essence of the music transcends genre boundaries.
MzVee concluded by admonishing her fans to be unique in whatever they do.
