Ghanaians should give Kuami Eugene a break for his music samples – Edem Tsortome

Popular Ghanaian musician Kuami Eugene has been in the spotlight, with some people criticizing him for using sampled music in his songs. However, entertainment pundit and artiste manager, Edem Tsortome, explained that sampling is a common practice in the music industry and cited Burna Boy, Nigeria’s famous artist who also uses samples in his music. 

Tsortome emphasised that sampling is a crucial part of music creation and that Kuami Eugene’s innovative use of samples has helped him stand out from other artists.
