Epixode has declared his latest hit featuring Keche, ‘Faya’, is set to blaze all entertainment centres this holidays.
On TV3 Newday show with Cookie Tee, the reigning VGMA dancehall artist of the year 2021, Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo, revealed his new song, ‘Faya’, featuring Keche, will be the ultimate Christmas banger.
‘Faya’ was released on Wednesday, November 24, with a tempo likened to the popular ‘what shawa say’ beat.
Epixode explained that his new song, ‘Faya’ featuring Keche, was unplanned and was overwhelmed with how fast it is trending. He also expressed his intention of becoming an afrobeat and highlife artist.
“I wanted to release a song from my three already made albums. But I also felt like releasing the unplanned ‘Faya’ because we are entering Christmas, and people want to dance. So I know ‘Faya is definitely the Christmas banger’.
“I know people know me for dancehall. The love for this one has been crazy because the song has over 45k views on YouTube now. Maybe I might stick to this afrobeat highlife thing.” he added.
He also revealed another album of his dubbed ’69’ and ‘925’, but he did not explain it in detail. He promised to get back on TV3’s late-night show to explain these intriguing albums.
