In a heartwarming revelation, Ghanaian Gospel music sensation Empress Gifty Adorye recently shared an inspiring testimonial from a devoted fan whose life took a transformative turn after listening to her uplifting song ‘Awiey3 Pa’.

The acclaimed singer-songwriter opened up about this touching encounter during an exclusive interview on 3FM Drive on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

“I met this woman in Ivory Coast at a funeral 2 weeks ago. I didn’t know she was my fan. The daughter came to me and said ‘Empress, my mother wants to see you. She’s your fan’. I told her to tell her mother to come around. I got to meet the woman and she was crying and shaking,” she said.

The fan, who had experienced a profound turnaround in her life, attributed her transformation to the powerful message conveyed through Empress Gifty’s song

Empress Gifty recounted the fan’s heartfelt words: “She told me that ‘Empress, you do not know what you have done for me. Awiey3 Pa is a song that I listen to in the morning, and evening and has become part of me. All my children know that I love you but I really like this song so much. Empress, this is what I was going through in my marriage and I used your words as a point of contact and I told God that if you have done for Empress; if you have given her an expected end and a testimony, I use her words and ask that may you visit me. I need peace and happiness in my home. I want my husband to see me as a wife’. She told me that I have no idea how much help I have been to her. It was a song that really brought joy to my home. The moment I used you as a point of contact and started praying with your song, God came through for me.’ I shared her testimony on my Facebook page.”

Based on the woman who is almost in her 60s testimony, Empress Gifty said that she has come to the realization that God works a lot through her music and she needs to be very careful when it comes to her conscience.

“God used the woman to talk to me; anything I am doing, I should be careful about my conscience because when God directs you and your conscience is not right, you can miss the timing. She was sharing a testimony but I was taking something from it. There is a lot God does through my songs,” she stated.
