Ded Buddy eyes gov't contract for affordable housing

Ghanaian singer, Ded Buddy, who recently returned to the music after a long break, is asking the government to give him contract to construct affordable houses in the country.   The ‘yɛbɛsa’ hit maker who is a an architecture engineer told Miriam Osei Agyemang, host of Urban Blend that  he has the expertise to deliver cost effective housing to help reduce the country’s housing deficit. “I love to help because I feel like housing is a problem out there and people really don’t focus on that but it’s big; these homes that are being built, the average Ghanaian cannot afford that”. Born Eric Kwasi Okine Turkson, Ded Buddy revealed he has already acquired a land to build 1,000 affordable houses, saying “I’ve already acquired some places that I think will be good for those things” Asked about how his return to the music industry has been, he said it feels like he is starting his career all over again. “To be honest with you, it feels like I’m starting again,” he stated, but indicated that is not surprising considering that a lot have changed since he last left the scene.
