Nigerian superstar, Davido has confirmed rumours that he and his longtime girlfriend, Chef Chioma are officially husband and wife.
David who took a long break from the public space and social media returned in March with an announcement for his latest album.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with content creator and actress, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, the ‘Blow My Mind’ singer revealed he was now a family man.
“Just being away, you know I have had a lot to think about definitely. Time to rest, reflect on a lot of family time and time to make music again,” he said
He continued, “You know, I remade the album. Before I went on a break I actually had an album ready. I had a tour ready. You know we did the album. I travelled. It was crazy. I’m married. A lot of different things but yeah, we are ready now to get back on the road.
Davido and Chioma who called off their nuptials during the Covid-19 pandemic had been on and off until their reunion last year, a few months before the passing of their son, Ifeanyi.
The Davido Music Worldwide boss had dropped hints of the upcoming wedding last year which was posted by UK-based Nigerian pastor, Tobi Adegboyega.
Fans have taken to social media to congratulate the couple and wished them marital bliss.
