Rapper Sarkodie has received a lot of birthday wishes from fans, close friends and prominent people. But what got Ghanaians stunned was a message to him from dance hall artiste Shatta Wale. The two had a jovial conversation on Accra-based radio station Hitz FM. Born Michael Owusu Addo, Sarkodie was in a celebration mood and as part of his birthday activities, the rapper and entrepreneur got a call from Andy Dosty on air, wishing him a happy birthday. As the conversation went on, Shatta Wale was brought online to join their conversation. Shatta Wale, who was in a jovial mood, was heard describing Sarkodie as his boss and asking if he could bring the car after washing it. Sarkodie replied by saying ‘’you can bring the car home but you will not enter my house because of the virus”. Shatta Wale shouted happy birthday before discounting the notion that he and Sarkodie were at loggerheads. He said: “Me and Sarkodie, we are actors oo! He is my brother and everything. This is how we talk everyday. Today I dey full Sark, my snap everywhere.” Shatta Wale’s celebration of Sarkodie came as a huge surprise to many as the two have not been getting along for close to two years. Although they were very good friends, their relationship turned sour in 2018, when Sarkodie released a ‘diss’ song titled Advice for Shatta Wale after a series of jabs from the latter.
