On Friday, March 8, fans thronged the University of Ghana Sports Stadium for the opening ceremony of the ongoing 13th African Games.
The vibrant and colourful opening ceremony featured sports personalities and diplomats around the globe.
Athletes were proudly adorned in their respective country colours to represent their nations which included Ethiopia, Tunisia, Seychelles Island, Ghana, South Africa Egypt and others.
Ghanaian musicians including Shatta Wale, King Promise and Kamo Mphela from South Africa graced the ceremony with spectacular performances.
Shatta Wale created an electrifying atmosphere as soon as he stepped on the stage to perform. The crowd were left shouting and making exciting noises as the Dancehall King performed on stage.
Shatta Wale sent his fans into frenzy while he was singing his monster hit song ”Ayoo” and paused to make some energetic “Kolo” dance moves.
