Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has demanded the arrest of Prophet Nigel Gaisie for his prophecy about the late Deputy Finance Minister, John Kumah.

During last year’s watchnight service, Prophet Nigel Gaisie made declarations about impending threats against a certain Deputy Finance Minister.

Mrs Kumah ignored me at Movenpick when I wanted to tell her about the impending danger – Nigel Gaisie

The prophet said “I saw a Deputy Minister of Finance, if he can take care of himself, I see him at the highest height of government, but they want to attack him. If he can take care of himself, in the next years, God will help him, and I saw him at the seat of
government, but they have ganged, they have sat down, they want to crash him, a deputy minister of finance,” Prophet Nigel Gaisie declared without mentioning a specific name.

Fast forward to March 2024 when the late John Kumah died, several speculations came up surrounding the death of the former deputy finance minister, one of those speculations was linked to the prophet’s pronouncement in December 2023 about a certain deputy minister.

The musician in an interview on GTV on Friday queried why the police has still not apprehended the prophet while citing a promise he made to himself to ensure men of God who make prophecies are arrested.

His query came up when host, Kafui Dey drew his attention to the recent controversy about John Kumah’s death and Nigel Gaisie’s prophecy.

“I told myself that when I come out of prison, I am going to make sure they stop all these pastors from delivering those nonsense false prophecies.

“Really? And they haven’t arrested him? No, they have to arrest him, Maybe IGP hasn’t noticed it yet,” Wale noted on March 15.

Meanwhile, wife of the late John Kumah has said the prophecy about her late husband should be ignored because the prophet had foreknowledge about the health condition of John Kumah since November 2023.

Ignore the prophecy, Nigel Gaisie was my husband’s friend and knew about the sickness since Nov. 2023 – John Kumah’s wife

“Nigel Gaisie was like a brother. He knows my late husband, lawyer John Kumah personally, one-on-one. We have sat in this house and eaten together several times. That is how far we go. When he came from abroad to start a church in Ghana, he came to my church, Disciples of Christ Ministries and I did a programme with him dubbed “Let the Prophet Speak”.

“Nigel Gaisie knew very well that my husband was terminally ill as far back as August 2023 but regardless of that, he stood on his altar on 31st December 2023 to lie through his supposed prophesy that a Ghanaian deputy minister will die in the year 2024.

“What does he want to achieve through these fake prophesies?” John Kumah’s widow further stated.
