Gospel musician Empress Gifty has announced the date for her annual Easter event, Resurrection Effect ‘TREC’ 2024.
This year’s edition marks the sixth year of the event and is set to happen on April 1 at the Living Faith Ministry International at Ashaley Botwe near Pentecost down in Accra.
Speaking about her event on TV3’s New Day on March 18, Empress Gifty said this year’s event will not just be about song ministrations but will come along with drama and arts.
“There is going to be an art because as a minister when God gives you a gift, you need to be skillful. David was skillful. So, Empress anything that I am doing concerning TREC, I add arts to it not just the music,” she told host Cookie Tee.
Empress Gifty also explained why she decided to bill four men; MOG, Akese Brempong, Kofi Owusu Peprah and ACP Kofi Sarpong for the event.
“We are doing men this time because when Mary Magdalene went to the disciple, there was no woman. There were just men. [So it’s all men] because of the concept,” she added.
Before the main event on Easter Monday, April 1, Empress Gifty noted that there will be a float on Good Friday starting from the Accra Mall.
TREC 2024 will begin at 3 pm on April 1 and will be a free event for all to attend.
