Gospel singer, Empress Gifty Adorye has said she has begun legal processes to sue prophetess and TikTok influencer Pretty Lady who prophesied doom against her family in January this year.

The prophetess in a TikTok video in January 2024 claimed that husband of Empress Gifty, Hopeson Adorye will face death if he engages in any political campaign for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Pretty Lady also advised that Hopeson Adorye should desist from engaging in any political campaign for any political party.

Responding to these so-called prophecies from Pretty Lady in an interview on TV3’s New Day, Empress Gifty noted that a court action would soon emanate against the prophetess.

“I am just doing the legal processes, [I have not taken her to court yet] but just doing the legal processes. You will hear of it,” she told host, Cookie Tee on Monday, March 18.

Empress Gifty clarified that while she would not have objected if the claims had been about her brand, she hates it when people harbor animosity toward her family.

“I am one person when you talk about me, I don’t care. When I want to respond, I come at you and when you leave the brand and enter into my family, this is where I get so furious. I don’t like it.

“I believe in prophecies so if you think you have seen something, come to me and I will pray about it. This is internet issue and will stay there forever. I don’t have her time and [not spoken to her yet],” she stated.

However, the couple in a TikTok live video also replied to the prophetess few days after the incident.

Pretty Lady’s viral video generated a scathing response from Empress Gifty and her husband, Hopeson Adorye.
