Ghana’s Black Princesses in a dramatic comeback, beat Nigeria’s Falconets to clinch gold in the ongoing African Games.
Ghana was initially down by a goal in the game played at the Cape Coast stadium on Thursday night.
However, forward Mukarama Abdulai got the winning goal for Ghana in the extra time after the game ended 1-1.
Among other dignitaries in the VIP section was gospel musician Empress Gifty who had performed prior to the starting of the game.
Empress Gifty could not hold back her joy and excitement after Ghana scored the winning goal in the extra time. She was seen in a jubilant mood, jumping and waving a Ghana flag.
Also in the VIP section was founder of the New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Bediako better known as Cheddar together with his wife. They both smiled in excitement for Ghana’s gold win.
