Albert Serebo Ayeh-Hanson, popularly known by his stage name Ball J Beat, has said that Black Sherif is Ghana’s sure bet to winning the Grammys.

The Ghanaian beat maker/producer indicated that he feels the 2023 VGMA Artiste of the Year could bag a Grammys award because he has all the arsenal he needs.

“Black Sherif is Ghana’s sure bet in winning the Grammys because he’s got the team, the distribution, people to back him up and ultimately, he’s got the right songs,” he stated.

Ball J added that Black Sherif does not only have his music as an advantage but the team he works with is part of the reasons why he believes the ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ singer could bag that coveted award.  “It’s not just about his music; it’s the whole entourage.”

Speaking to King Kwaku Mensa on Showbiz University, the ‘Lapaz Toyota’ producer ended his submission by saying that if Black Sherif is not faced with challenges or impediments then definitely, he is on his way to the Grammys.

“DJ Khaled heard Black Sherif. That’s how far. Ghana has gotten to,” he said.

Ball J used the podcast platform to advise all young and upcoming musicians.

“If you want to blow up as a young artiste coming, use social media as the means but remember it is going to have a footprint on your brand and it will stick forever. It is a very nice tool but needs a delicate balance. It’s all about taking your time and getting the right song. It is not just about social media…do your good music but make sure you have the right team and that’s the hard part of it”.
