It was a fun-packed day at the Junction Mall on Friday, March 6 as Ghana marked its 63rd independence anniversary.

Ghana’s most urban focused radio station – 3FM – took over one of Accra’s busiest malls with a carefully selected blend of shows to spice the holiday and shopping experience of patrons.

The extravaganza kicked off with the Urban Blend show hosted by Mariam Osei-Agyemang. The fine hostess treated patrons and listeners a beautiful blend of good music, conversations, competition and performances from Southside Entertainment.

That impressive show was followed by Accra’s biggest drive time show, the 3FM Drive hosted by Giovani Caleb.

The talk-of-town show once again did not fail to deliver as businesses at the mall, patrons and listeners were given a treat of a lifetime.

Giovani and his crew turned the show into a mega concert with an impressive list of acts talking turns to trill the many who had gathered there.

Skrewfaze, DarkoVibes, Lord Paper, O’Bkay, Don Itchi and host of others were in their elements performing back to back hit tracks. At the peek of the event, Lord Paper happily dashed a kid who had impressed him on the dancefloor with GHc200.

The icing on the cake was the Block Party show hosted by the ‘Energy goddess’ Chrystal. In her usual element, there was never a dull moment around her. Her energy, backed by some good music, charged the atmosphere at the Junction Mall.

Apart from the artiste performances, there were exciting competitions and giveaways.
