[Photo] Recovered Carlos Ahenkorah pops up in Parliament

Member of Parliament for Tema West Constituency Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah has showed up in Parliament for the first time after fully recovering from Covid-19. Mr Ahenkorah had suffered the deadly disease despite not showing symptoms. He had later been on overnight admission at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, where he witnessed the passing away of Forestry Commission boss Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as Sir John. But the former deputy minister attracted public criticism for visiting some registration centres at the start of the voter registration exercise despite not having been cleared recovered. On Saturday, he received clearance from the Ghana Health Service (GHS) that he has recovered despite a warning that that does not immune him from contracting the disease again.
