I am inspired that we can always count on your goodwill and support, as we take a giant step towards catering for the needs of the vulnerable in society, including health and education in line with Foundation’s tagline, ‘BOAFO PA.’
In October 2023, Ghanaians were overwhelmed with emotions as they grappled with the devastation caused by the Akosombo dam spillage. As we reflect on this national tragedy, we should also be inspired by the generosity of Ghanaians who, through philanthropy, offered a helping hand to those affected by the flood disaster.
To put it into perspective, the dam spillage provided the impetus to build on ongoing interventions by the Onua Group, to transform society. As you may be aware, the Onua Group has been instrumental in supporting worthy causes, including social and financial interventions for the vulnerable in society, including women, Persons With Disability (PWD) and needy but brilliant children.

The Onua Foundation is excited about the prospect of local philanthropy, and looks forward to working with Ghanaians of like minds, who care about the vulnerable and destitute in society. It is for this reason that we have as Foundation’s tagline ‘BOAFO PA’- Good helper.
