TV3’s latest addition to its morning show programme, NEWDAY, Etornam Sey, has been recognized at this year’s edition of the BBC media leaders training workshop. The training workshop, a personalised event, was designed to give delegates insight into and, understanding of, the African digital and social landscape. The 3-day event which was held at the Holiday inn in accra, explored the challenges for media organisations in Ghana and looked at strategy development that works to raise the profile and monetise delegate’s media brands. The event also explored routes to growing audience especially younger mobile first audiences. It got BBC Digital Experts and leading Digital Strategist from the continent to take the team through how to maximize opportunities the digital space provides. At the end of the 3-day event, participants were tasked to put together a presentation that reflects on the needs of a society and how their preferences affect media programming.
