The Defence Headquarter in a statement on Monday said, Nigerian troop are gradually mediating and clearing all camps, enclaves and dens of the dreadful sect Boko Haram terrorist in the Northern part of Nigeria.
“As a result of the continued offensives against the terrorists by advancing troops, terrorists fled and abandoned their locations at Nafari and Gonin Kurmi. The noose is tightening around the terrorists. Troops will continue the momentum until all terrorists and their camps are no more in Nigeria.
Defence Headquarters however advised citizen to desist from Boko Haram prone area for safety as well as presenting credible information to assist total arrest of the sect.
“Citizens are once again called upon to continue co-operating with security agencies through provision of timely and credible information about any known terrorists, their hideouts and collaborators.”
