The year 2021 came with its own unique content and trends and these have stood out as the most watched in the year:

  • Date Rush Seasons 4 & 5: Generally, almost all the episodes of Seasons 4 & 5 of TV3’s date-matching reality show Date Rush are among the most-watched videos on Youtube, but the statistics shows that the Season 4 reunion and episode 1 of Seasons 4 & 5 are the most watched.
  • One-on-one with Black Sherif: The emergence of Black Sherif, aka Blacko, on to the music scenes came with a huge digital presence. Little wonder his interview on TV3 New Day in July has over 400k views and over 6 million impressions.
  • NDC MPs take over majority side at the inauguration of 8th Parliament: It was all drama midnight January 6 when the NDC Members pf Parliament took over the majority side of the house. According to them, since they had 137 members just as their colleagues from the NPP, there was no majority and minority. That was the beginning chaotic scenes that later ensured in the house regarding the election of the speaker. We captured the moments on video and it is among the most watched on our channel.
  • [Documentary] Weija’s Ticking Time Bomb: In May, TV3 showed a documentary on the news features programme, The Assignment, titled ‘Weija’s ticking time bomb’, a Komla Adom documentary which exposed how people around the Weija cliff have defied authorities to live dangerously in an earthquake prone area. The documentary is among the most watched on our Youtube channel.
  • Nana Ama McBrown performs with MentorX contestants: As a guest judge on TV3’s MentorX, Nana Ama McBrown took to the stage to perform Samini’s ‘My Baby’ and succeeded in rally all the contestants into freestyling. The performance stands out as one of the most watched.
