She also works with a team of local artisans to create handmade jewelry and accessories to complement her clothing designs. Nana’s goal is to create fashion that makes people feel good both physically and spiritually.
Another sustainable fashion designer in Ghana is Kofi Ansah. Kofi was known for his use of vivid colors and bold prints. He sourced his fabrics from local markets and works with a group of seamstresses to produce his garments. Kofi was passionate about helping preserve Ghana’s rich cultural heritage through fashion until his untimely passing in 2014.
