Nominations for the concurrent presidential and parliamentary primaries are scheduled to be open from Thursday, August 27 and close on Thursday, September 10.
But before then, posters of some known faces have popped.
Samuel Kwesi Fletcher, the head of Public Affairs at the state’s power-producing firm Volta River Authority (VRA), and Edward Abambire Bawa, the Communications Specialist at the Ministry of Power, are among the known faces in the power sector to contest the November 7 primaries.

While Mr Fletcher will be standing in Gomoa West in the Central Region, Mr Bawa will be standing in Bongo in the Upper East Region.
Edward Bawa is a Communication Specialist at the Power Ministry
The two are expected to pay the GH¢10,000 nomination fee for aspiring parliamentary candidates.
