Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has stressed the need to have a leader with a full grasp of the digitalisation agenda and new technologies, appealing to Ghanaians to accept Dr. Bawumia to lead the nation.
The former president made the remarks while addressing a teeming crowd of party faithful at the Kofi Ohene Konadu Auditorium at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
“This man [Dr Bawumia] is definitely on a mission. A mission determined by destiny, so please and let’s accept him to continue,” the former president said.

“We happen to be living in times when the whole world is in a flax where quality leadership is very scarce. If anybody aspires to be a leader without a command of new technologies like digitalisation and also without a deep grasp of geopolitics, I tell you, you may be found wanting,” he stated.
