The re-elected National Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) George Opare Addo has met former President John Dramani Mahama in Accra today, Wednesday December 14 after his victory last Saturday.

He said he called on Mr Mahama to discuss issues of mutual interest.

In a tweet after the meeting, he said “President Mahama is committed to ensuring the Youth play a pivotal role in the campaign to Victory 2024. The Youth Wing of the NDC is ready to make this happen, we will not fail.”

George Opare Addo, popularly known as Pablo, polled 533 of the total 1,041 valid votes cast to beat his sole challenger, Yaw Brogya Genfi, who polled 508 votes.

This followed elections held at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) on Saturday, December 10.

The election of the 10th Youth & Women’s Conference of the largest opposition party was held up for long hours after disagreement with the album.
