The Ken Agyapong for President (Ken4P) campaign team says though there are unresolved matters after the outcome of the Super Delegates Conference, their candidate will rather fight from inside, than exit the party.

A former Second Vice Chair of the party, Sammy Crabbe, says they will combine their votes and that of Alan Kyerematen to defeat the Vice President in the November 4 primary.

Mr Kyerematen officially resigned from the party on Monday, September 25, indicating his resolve to contest the 2024 elections as an independent presidential candidate.

According to Sammy Crabbe, though his candidate raised similar grievances as that of Alan Kyerematen, they will rather stay in the party and fight.

“This party has issues. I will be the last to say, there are no issues in this party, but we don’t believe in leaving. We belong here and we will stay and slug it out,” he added.

Sammy Crabbe says they are poised to beat Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming November 4 primary.

“Politics is about numbers, and we count numbers to win. If you combine the votes of Alan and Ken together, Bawumia will be defeated. There will be no need for a second round,” he mentioned.
