With about a week to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Primary, one of the four flagbearer aspirants, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, and his Campaign Manager, Kwame Owusu, have contradicted each other on claims of inducing delegates.

While the aspirant has accused other aspirants of sharing money, the Campaign Manager has made a public confession that the Kennedy camp is also deeply involved in sharing money to induce delegates.

The controversial aspirant accused the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign, in particular, of inducing some party chairmen with cars and huge monies but the allegation was flatly denied by some of the chairmen who have confronted him at some points over the allegations.

But in a new twist, Kennedy’s right-hand man has now admitted they are sharing money.

“Team Ken Agyapong is also inducing delegates with money but we are doing it covertly,” Kwame Owusu told Accra-based Citi FM.

He added: “I can’t deny the fact that we are also giving money. It is not bribe.”

The NPP goes to the polls Saturday , November 4 to elect a new flagbearer.
