The Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr Richard Ahiabgah has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of abusing a journalist in Assin North ahead of the by-election on Tuesday, June 27.
Mr Ahiagbah indicated that the journalist who is with Accra-based Peace FM was allegedly abused over a video documentary of the ‘bushy Jame Gyakye Quayson’s plot’.
He said the Ghana Journalist Association (GJA) President has been duly informed “about this needless abuse of a journalist who is simply trying to do his job.”
Mr Ahiagbah tweeted on Monday, June 26 that “The video shows where Mr. Gyakye Quayson’s house would have been if he had a house in the Assin North Constituency.
“Gyakye Quayson does not have a house in the constituency he wants to represent. Say no to the abuse of journalists. Say no to James Gyakye Quayson. Vote NPP’s Charles Opoku as MP of Assin North.”
