The young man, Kalyjay, who started the hashtag #FixTheCountry on Twitter, says it was to help push the concerns of citizens and demand accountability.

Speaking in an interview with TV3’s journalist Emmanuel Samani on Midday live, the social influencer stated that the inspiration came from a questionnaire on Twitter. The questionnaire was an inquiry into the welfare of Ghanaians, particularly on the rampant light outrages and shortage of water.
Kalyjay and co influencers saw the need to embark on a project which sort to place the petitions of Ghanaians before authorities.

He reiterated that he would use every means available to him to help achieve the better Ghana Agenda.
Kalyjay also debunked all rumours concerning his affiliation to a political party. He insisted on his neutral stance and only declared his support for anyone whose aims resonates with his. The move is not politically motivated but rather out of the own will of concerned and awakened Ghanaians.

Joshua Boye -Doe, popularly Kalyjay or gyaigyimii on Twitter, together with his colleagues, started the movement to address the pleas of the citizens in the country. John Dumelo, Efia Odo, Lydia Forson, Micheal Oti -Adjei and celebrated Nigerian Talent, Tacha has joined forces to push the #FixTheCountry campaign.

Kalyjay urged all Ghanaians to collectively help push the agenda to set the country on a stable path. And ensure that Government works effectively to make Ghana a better place for all.
