The Ashanti Regional chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Augustus Andrews Nana Akwasi, says no amount of effort can save the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from going into opposition.
In an interview with Akoma News, Nana Akwasi accused President Akufo-Addo of destroying the economy beyond repairs.
“No miracle can save the NPP from going into position, with this level of mismanagement?” He queried.
He also indicated the outcomes of the recent district-level elections were evident in the mass rejection of the governing party.
“in the Ashanti region alone NDC affiliate assembly members secured 366 electoral areas an indication that the majority of the people in the Ashanti region are beginning to accept the NDC.”
He urged supporters of the party not to renege in canvassing of votes for the party “Even our flagbearer is not resting; moving all over the country to preach change to the people, we are not resting until we get the power.”
“I wish all NDC supporters, sympathisers and every Ghanaian a merry Christmas.” He said
