The Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Richard Ahiagbah has said that the NPP will win the Assin North by-election.
The by-election will be taking place on Tuesday, June 27.
He accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of spreading untruths to the people about the NPP and the government. However, he said, this strategy of the opposition party will not win them votes.
In a tweet, Mr Ahiagbah said “The NDC strategy in Assin North is lies, lies, and more lies to make the NPP & government look bad. But they grossly underestimated the people’s ability to see through their dated scheme.
“I spent the day yesterday canvassing in 9 communities until 11 pm, and the NDC was nowhere to be seen…It’s going to be an NPP on the 27th!”
