The delegates contend Mr Agbango is the best person to help the NDC recapture the Zebilla parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Party in the 2020 general elections. Former constituency organiser of the party, John Anyagre Ndebugre told 3news.com that the delegates were rooting for Agbango to win the NDC parliamentary primary and go on to win the seat for the NDC in the general elections. He is contesting the primary with former majority leader Cletus Avoka, Paul Abasi Issifu, Ebenezer Ndebilla and Mr Simon Eugene Mbilla. Mr Agbango who is a deputy accountant with the Ghana Health Service has meanwhile said he is working tirelessly to recapture the Zebilla parliamentary seat from incumbent Frank Fuseini Adongo for the NDC. Although the constituency is said to be the stronghold of the NDC, Frank Adongo of the NPP in 2016 on snatched the seat from the then former majority leader, Cletus Apul Avoka with a slim margin. Mr Agbango has promised to bring on board everyone including those who will lose the primary as well as former party officials to use their expertise to unify the party for victory in 2020. He further implored all NDC members in the constituency to support him to become parliamentary candidate to win power for victory in the 2020 polls. For him, the unification of the NDC in the constituency will be key for a resounding victory for the party in the 2020 general elections. Beyond that, he has promised to provide 1026 bicycles to delegates immediately after he is elected as parliamentary candidate. These bikes, he said, would be used to campaign for the party in the constituency. The aspirant also promised to build an extra modern office for the party when he becomes the member of parliament of the area. He called on delegates to vote massively for him to snatch the seat from the NPP MP in the area who he described as “supper incompetent”. By 3news.com.Ghana]]>
