The Appeals Committee of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will begin sitting on Thursday, April 13 after completing the vetting of all parliamentary aspirants.

The sitting will afford disqualified aspirants the opportunity to petition the committee and have their issues resolved.

A statement from a Deputy National Communications Director of the party, Godwin Ako Gunn, explained that the committee will not start sitting till Thursday, next week at the earliest.

He explained that this is because of the Easter holidays, which start on Friday, April 7.

The primaries are scheduled to be held on Saturday, May 13.
